Touched by the SOS-like message in the first place, my 2 cts. Nathanaël Attachments FCPX_XMLs.zip Zip file containing two XMLs files (one for each version available : 1.4 and 1.5) (172.18 KiB) Downloaded 99 times (Unless you're a Blackmagic Dev'.) This project being under contract, I wouldn't risk leaking anything.) (But please note I won't be able to share any footage. If you need anything else beside the XMLs attached to this topic, feel free to ask. Since the deadline of this project is coming really soon, I'm literally sending a SOS to anyone that may help me to find a solution (or a workaround) to allow this edit to be color graded. Before DaVinci crashed when I simply clicked on the name of the multicam clip inside the media pool just to check some of its metadata. I just can't imagine myself reapplying all of the properties to each clip of a timeline containing thousands of them, especially since this editing took over a month. I've also tried on both of the last version of Resolve (Lite & Studio (MAS for both) /12.5.1.034 & 12.5.1.035) with each time a new project : same result. I've tried to understand why this was happening by using many workarounds (different XML versions (1.4 and 1.5), exploiting third party app (XtoCC to Premiere Pro / FCP7 to DaVinci (XML and AAF)), praying to the saint lord of post-production.) : none of them worked. In that case, compared to a reference file, all of the clips positions are just wrong. Quick note : I know that DaVinci adapts the value when they're imported. *Keyframes are not affected by this issue, which means they seem to be correctly imported to DaVinci. In fact, 95% of them are wrong (not absent, just wrong or completely random) compared to the ones of my editing project. Most (if not all) of the position/scale/rotation properties (animated* or not) are purely and simply wrongly translated. Over the last few days, I've tried to import inside of DaVinci Resolve a FCPX XML of a 1h length multicam editing which contains many, many clips (98% of them based upon a Multicam Clip with 3 angles) with modified properties (position/scales/rotation (most of them being animated), compositing mode, etc.).Įven though I knew that the compositing modes wouldn't go through (not a big problem to reapply them on a per-case basis), I didn't expect the following behaviour with the other properties : I am completely desperate on this issue, so if you have any idea that may help me (user of Blackmagic Developper), I would be forever grateful.
